"Kevin Richards came out in 2012 to take pictures of my house before he started policy.. we've had problems with them standing up to their word. Overcharging us because of his agent's mistakes. They've been overcharging me for 14 years because they made the mistake of listing us with not having a metal roof but a shingle roof. Contacting them over 2 years ago and after asking for 2 years they finally sent me a form to fill out to prove I had a metal roof. Now I've been informed they've changed my policy to a metal roof. But the agent also informed us that they would only backdate the policy for 30 days when this has been going on for 14 years. When my wife bought a new car at the agent screwed up and it cost us an extra $75. When trying to address this problem Ken Richards agency is not willing to help us with the problems that they caused. Every time I call there I just expect to get the wrong answer. After 12 years and by 10 to 15 mistakes costing me and my wife thousands of dollars they will never stand up to their mistakes that were the problems they cause on your policies. This is the most unprofessional company I've ever worked with . I don't know how they seemed to get good reviews because they never ever stand up and pay you back for the problems they caused. Agents Jeremy and Christina have both admitted to mistakes and also they won't help us with their overcharging. Again not sure how they get the reviews that they get with the way they treat their customers. If this is your age and I strongly suggest you go elsewhere. They provide no customer service!!"

Regarding your issue with your home, The correction to your roof (documents signed by you) was completed in April 2022 after you brought it to our attention. We conducted a review with you and Nancy January of 2023 where you were happy with the policy and coverage. The auto issue you are referring to was refunded July 2025. However, we deeply regret that your experience with us here was so disappointing. I understand the frustration you must be feeling and I apologize. "Home owners, and renters insurance policies beware!!!!!! "You do realize that the company is just trying to save money with this denial" "The AI technology is just as good as a technician" Jeremy advised me that filing a catastrophic hail damage claim from June 2025 on my rental policies, would not effect my home owners policy. Never called or answered the phone for an annual review of policies. Never followed up to reschedule. I had have my policies sent to another state farm agency to be reviewed for them to tell me that Jeremy of Ken Richards State Farm straight up lied to me about disaster claims affecting home owners. I called back 3/27/26 and Jeremy had no idea that disaster claims on rentals would affecty home owners policy. "I did not know that would effect you so much." Clearly Jeremy hadn't done his due diligence to review my records and go to underwriting about my home owners policy. I had to switch to another agent in State farm. That agent told me I'm uninsurable on my home and I basically can't make any claim on any of my properties until 2028. Jeremy straight up lied to me about what to do on filing a claim because he didn't look into my policy information. And when I confronted him today about it, he had no idea that the disaster claims would affecty home owners policy. I even asked him on the phone today if he knew that the disaster claims would affecty home owners policy and he said he didn't know that would happen. Jeremy didn't make any records of our conversations per the current state farm agent that I'm working with. Jeremy didn't do his job to advise me properly if I should file hail damage claims. He didn't advocate for me during the process of hail damage repairs. Jeremy didn't follow up with an annual review of my policies. He didn't know what what was in my policies. Jeremy is just sitting on his paycheck of commissions and doesn't do his due diligence for you the customer. First and foremost, I want to clarify that at no time did anyone on my team say that “the company is just trying to save money with this denial” or that “the AI technology is just as good as a technician.” We are not claims adjusters and are not licensed in claims, but we always strive to provide transparent and accurate information based on policy terms and underwriting guidelines. Regarding your questions about how claims on rental properties might affect your homeowners policy, insurance policies can be complex and vary significantly. At the time you filed claims on your rental properties, neither I nor State Farm insured your homeowners policy. We always aim to provide guidance based on the information available and encourage policyholders to carefully review their coverage details. We also guide customers on the potential ramifications of filing claims. I regret if there was any misunderstanding or if we were not clear enough in explaining the possible impacts. As for your policy review, my notes indicate that Jeremy missed your scheduled review phone appointment by approximately 15 minutes due to a customer walking into the office. However, he promptly called and left you a voicemail apologizing and asking if we could reschedule or if now would work. He also followed up with a text message with the same request. Unfortunately, we never received a response. I want to assure you that I work diligently to be available to my clients and we conduct annual reviews 52 weeks a year. I am in the office five days a week from 8:30 AM to 5 or 5:30 PM and make every effort to return calls and reschedule appointments promptly. That is far from being “checked out.” If communication fell short in your case, I sincerely apologize. Your feedback is important to me, and I take it seriously. Since you have already moved your insurance to a Denver agent I wish you nothing but the best in the future. Thank you for allowing me to address your concerns. "

"I had the unfortunate experience of my debit card being compromised and had to cancel the card. It’s a nightmare trying to remember what payments the card was attached to! SF notified me via text when my payment was declined. I immediately contacted the office and spoke with Jeremy Davis to resolve the payment issue. Jeremy was very professional, polite, and empathetic to my situation. Instead of sending me to their website to deal with the problem, he took the time to speak with me and he personally made the changes needed on my autopay account with them. I appreciated him helping me with this problem. I have always received prompt service from my SF office and highly recommend this office and Agent Jeremy Davis to anyone looking for an exceptional and caring agent.
